BSE 3D engineers were employed as the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health designers and M&E Co-ordinators for a conversion of an existing 1920’s London apartment.

The project was undertaken with very close coordination between the design team and the client to produce the required quality of installation. Continued detailed design between the interior designers and the services installation was paramount throughout the project.

The apartment spans two floors within an existing mansion block. The accommodation includes 4 bedrooms complete with en-suites, Cinema room, full kitchen facilities, office, snug, dining areas and 3 reception rooms. Heating is provided throughout by an underfloor heating system that also includes additional acoustic treatment to preclude noise transmission between the apartments.

The AV installation has been fully integrated with the heating controls, Access and Security systems, lighting control and Entertainment systems using computer tablets and iPhones.
