Philip Todd
Managing Director
Phil is a Chartered Engineer with a degree in Energy Engineering from London Southbank University. He has a genuine passion for engineering and was awarded an industry prize for the ‘Graduate of the Year’ competition. He combines his academic knowledge with an exceptional work efficiency, drawing upon work ethics that can only be gained through years of experience and hard work within the industry itself. Phil sets the mark for high standards and completion of projects through an upstanding view of a better and more sustainable future.
Having always been enthusiastic about energy efficiency and engineering, Phil has held positions within the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) Council for over 15 years and has given presentations on Low Carbon developments, Building Information Modelling and Planning as well as design services and management. Phil has worked in five continents and in every market sector winning awards for innovative design and exemplar projects. Key Clients and Projects that have profited from Phil’s involvement include British Airways, Shell, BT, Savoy Hotel, Barclays Bank, County Hall – London, Grange Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels, Volvo, Rolls Royce, Bupa, Tesla, Jamie Oliver, Hammerson and Whitbread.
Phil is a Director/Governor for a local High School and keeps fit and active through a wide array of different sports and charity events.

Carl Morphew
Director
Carl is an Incorporated Engineer and Qualified Electrician. He has a keen eye for detail and draws on his extensive experience within the M&E services installations sector and the consultancy side to ensure all projects are engineered practically and delivered fully coordinated to the highest standard.
Having considerable experience in the Education, Healthcare, Residential and Rail sectors; Carl draws upon his background to move technology forward and look for new ways to add value to our existing and new clients.
Over recent years, Carl has established an excellent reputation for designing innovative buildings for Higher Education institutions, high-profile Mixed Use Developments and regenerative master plans, as well as working on a range of projects within the Leisure and Hospitality sector.

David Gomm
Director
David is qualified in Civil and Building Services Engineering and a full member of the professional institute. During his near 30 year career David has taken his knowledge overseas and carried out extensive work in the Middle East and all over Europe. The experiences gained through past projects coupled with hugely successful outcomes, go together to fuel David’s motivation to always strive to achieve more and push past the everyday engineering boundaries that are so often faced within the industry.
The London market has been a focus for David’s career, developing the London office to specialise in supporting our existing clients and further specialise and push best value in Offices, Hotels and Restaurants. This has provided David with a finite knowledge of the local industry and the most suitable mechanical plant and equipment which would prove most advantageous to the buildings occupants as well as the economic rewards for the clients involved.

Graham Bowes
Director
With a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Graham has a desire for innovation and strives to achieve excellence in his work. Drawing upon a vast amount of knowledge in heavy electrical engineering, specialist lighting and control systems, his projects are always delivered using the cutting edge technologies that demonstrate his depth of knowledge and academic training.
Graham now spends the majority of his time in the Southern Ireland office, having moved with our existing clients and has developed his own property and our office there.
Graham has recently worked on aligning the new RIBA and ACE work stages to our own in house QA system to ensure Clients and Architects are correctly and properly supported at each stage of the design process. This work has identified various gains that can be achieved through implementation of Building Information Modelling that BSE 3D have now used and embraced since 2009.

Martin Winter
Electrical Director
Martin is a chartered engineer with over 30 years of design and design management experience, including 8 Years in the Middle East in the field of Building Services Design consultancy with experience working for small, medium and large-scale reputable consultancies on over 120 projects.
Martin has a keen eye for detail and with experiences from big business helps to drive a co-ordinated structure approach to set high standards and completion of projects through an upstanding view of a better and more sustainable future.
Specialising in Data Centres, as a client-facing ‘hands on’ Director he has been responsible for the management of staff and project control for major projects in the UK and Middle east in recent years.

Trevor Banham
Technical Director
Trevor is a member if CIPHE (Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineers) and oversees the Public Health Design with his vast experience and knowledge in contracting, design/building and consultancy. Trevor’s specialisms are in the implementation of drainage/sewage, sanitary plumbing, water distribution and fire protection systems.

Vic Jackson
Technical Director
Bringing knowledge, passion and vision to the company, with over 40 years worth of experience working within the building services industry, Vic has guided and trained many public health engineers within the industry today. He is the group’s Technical Director for Public Health Design.
He’s carried out extensive work on above and below ground complex systems in a variety of sectors all around the globe. Vic has worked alongside renowned architectural firms and engineering practices building an established and well documented report providing clients with results of exceedingly high standard.

Karen Womack
Office Manager
Karen has been part of the team for several years and her role as Office Manager has broadened into a more hands-on approach with many aspects of our projects. She has a genuine interest to learning and has developed her understanding of the MEP environment through Continued Professional Development and benefits from drawing on skills from her colleagues.
She has recently taken an interest in Mental Health and is currently working towards her Level 2 Certificate Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace as well as undertaking additional training for Health and Safety in the Workplace. Karen has recently been accepted as a STEM Ambassador and is looking to develop this further.
Her cheerful personality shines through and brings a smile to anyone she meets and has a positive effect on our team. During her down time, she enjoys walking the countryside around her home and singing with friends! She also likes to sink into a good juicy novel or a good old fashioned war film when she’s not spending time with family and friends.

Robert MacDonald
Associate Public Health Engineer
Robert is the Associate Public Health Engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with Mechatronics from the University of Surrey. He has a real interest in future technologies and system integration to provide engineering solutions within a holistic BIM approach. Robert and the team are constantly improving the database of information and enhancing the already efficient approach to completing jobs in a timely manner.
Separately, Robert has also been involved in research and visualisation projects for BSE3D and has recently developed a bespoke programming routine within Revit software utilising Unreal Engine and Unity Walkthroughs to create virtualised walkthroughs of live projects. Robert brings many skillsets to projects, but his specialist skill is in Revit Coordination with an eye for detail.

Francisco Pelegrin
Associate Engineer
Fran is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a BSC in industrial engineering specialising in mechanical and has over 25 years of experience in the industry.
He was a member of Colegio de Ingenieros Industriales of Zaragoza and Madrid (Spain), which are the equivalent institution of CIBSE and IMechE. He continued his progression by taking a BREEAM assessor course, he then undertook qualifications in Low Carbon Consultant and Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme.
He has extensive experience in working in Public and Private sector multimillion projects, including Healthcare facilities, hotels, offices, and residential retail outlets. His experience also includes working in East and West Sussex County Council Framework Agreements, providing technical support to Spanish based Hotelier Melia in the UK and working in the United Arab Emirates on the Al Zeina residential, retail and leisure accommodation, which is part of the prestigious Al Raha Beach Development in Abu Dhabi.
He also has experience in sustainability and energy modelling and as Contract Administrator in the Framework Agreements.
Having worked on many prestigious projects at BSE 3D, he has meticulous work ethics to detail in his designs.
He enjoys travelling and experiencing different cultures and benefits from being bilingual in Spanish and a good command in French.

Rupang Mistry
Associate Engineer
Rupang is a specialist Building Services Mechanical Engineer and registered Low Carbon Energy Assessor (Level 3,4,5). Rupang has extensive experience and expertise in computational thermal modelling and that makes him best placed to support clients and Architects with Solar overheating, Thermal Comfort, Natural Ventilation Study, Day lighting, Part L Compliance. In compiling the thermal models he is able to prepare first class Energy & Sustainability statements for planning applications and consider renewable sources. Rupang is a CIBSE Air Conditioning Inspector (Level 3 & 4)
Rupang is a proud father and a keen cricketer and plays for his local team.

Kenneth AuYeung
Senior Electrical Engineer
Kenneth is a Chartered Building Services Engineer & member of Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) and has also accredited from NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) by Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). He has taken his knowledge with over 20 years’ worth of experience working within the building services industry and carried out extensive work in both UK and Hong Kong. Key Projects that have profited from Kenneth’s involvement include Airport Extensions, Passenger Crossing Boundary Main Clearance Buildings, Complex Data Centres, Municipal Waste Management Facilities and Educational Institutions.
Building Services in UK has been a focus for Kenneth’s career and further specialisation and is currently pushing best value in design of Data Centres, Offices and Residential homes.

Carl Moloney
Senior Electrical Engineer
Carl started his engineering career as an electrical installation apprentice gaining City and Guilds qualifications working on commercial projects, becoming site supervisor for a variety of projects and gaining an in-depth knowledge and experience of electrical installation.
Carl progressed into and electrical design role and at the same time gained further experience as the senior installation and technical authority undertaking the role of NICEIC qualifying supervisor.
Using the knowledge and experience gained during working on site, Carl is well positioned to produce designs that work from both an end user requirements and installation perspective. As an associate of the business, Carl has been responsible for leading the electrical design services across numerous commercial, and healthcare and mission critical environments in addition to retail and industrial projects.

Harriet Morphew
Electrical Engineer
Harriet is an Incorporated Engineer with a 1st class degree in Building Services Engineering from London Southbank University. Having completed her degree apprenticeship with BSE3D she has experience across all the disciplines and now helps to mentor more junior engineers and work placement students.
Although her bias is in electrical engineering, Harriet is passionate about the climate crisis and so focusses on energy efficiency through engineering design to reduce carbon emissions on her projects and is involved with the Part L carbon emission compliance on many of our schemes. Harriet has experience in various sectors across the UK and Middle East including data centres, schools, offices, hotels and both large- and small-scale residential projects.
Harriet is a STEM Ambassador and works with schools to promote building services careers and women in engineering using resources from the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) where she is an Associate Member and from the Women’s Engineering Society (WES) where she is a Member. In her spare time, Harriet enjoys practicing martial arts with her family and is training for her next black belt promotion!

Oliver Parkinson
Mechanical Engineer
Oliver is qualified in Building Services Engineering, having graduated from London South Bank University. His last 6 years in the industry have taken him across the UK and to Germany, working on a variety of projects such as schools, residential complexes, office complexes & data centres. During his time in the industry, he has continued to develop his skills in the use of a variety of computer aided design software packages such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit & IESVE. This has enabled him to provide a high standard of work whilst keeping up with an ever-evolving industry with new & exciting technologies constantly being introduced. Oliver is keen to tackle the ever-changing obstacles that face the industry, with tact, vigour & integrity!

Sue Waring
Energy & Sustainability
Sue is an accredited BREEAM assessor and domestic SAP assessor. With considerable experience in both the commercial and domestic sector, Sue is able to advise on planning applications and how to achieve more cost effective credits for developments. Sue coordinates and collates evidence to justify the energy and sustainability for each project as well as supporting clients and contractors with their commitments in reducing carbon, waste and improvements in recycling.

Joven Alimambo
Graduate Engineer
Joven has recently graduated from his master’s at the University of Sussex, achieving a First class degree in Mechanical Engineering. Having built strong analytical and practical skills through his involvement in formula student, he is highly motivated in expanding his engineering skills to aid in sustainable developments.
