BSE|3D shine at the BHBiz Awards 2024

We are the proud winner of the Future Talent & Skills Champion award at this year’s Burgess Hill Business Parks Association BHBiz Awards. The BHBiz Awards promote and celebrate local businesses in the Burgess Hill and Mid Sussex area and what they offer.

The Future Talent and Skills Champion Award, sponsored by Mid Sussex District Council, was a category for a company that had made a standout contribution to the local community over the last year.  We’re incredibly proud to have a team that is dedicated to nurturing the future stars of our industry, both locally and nationally.

Our flagship STEM activity is our annual Mid Sussex Science Week initiative, which has been running since 2015. This sees multiple local primary schools pair up with local businesses to create STEM projects across a week in July. Each team then brings their project and presents it to judges to compete for the top prize. STEM activities are also run throughout the day and we have been lucky to organise fantastic science shows each year for the participants too. Find out more at www.midsussexscience.org

As well as our annual science week, we offer work placements, apprenticeship schemes and our team take an active role in careers events at local schools. Online STEM pen-pal activities also help us reach students across the country. We hope that by promoting and engaging local students with STEM businesses and careers, they can make better, informed decisions during their education and beyond.

Being recognised as having made a standout contribution locally over the past year is an incredible achievement for us. We would like to congratulate the other nominees, finalists and winners that attended the gala dinner at the Amex Stadium on Friday evening.
